Hello! Can you introduce yourself and tell us how long you’ve been at FCCU?

Hello! I’m Brian Schleicher, and I joined FCCU in April 2021. I am a Mortgage Loan Officer at our Watertown branch.

What is your favorite part about working at FCCU so far?

My favorite part about working for FCCU is being part of the loan team. They are fantastic. The team is filled with fantastic people who are always ready to get the job done to help our members.  

Outside of work, what are some of your favorite things to do and why?

Some of my favorite things to do outside of work are reading and hiking. My idea of a great, relaxing day starts with a hike on a scenic trail and ends with a good book to unwind at night.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

If I could go anywhere in the world, I would love to go to Italy and see the ancient architecture.

What is your favorite 80’s or 90’s jam?

Billie Jean by Michael Jackson.

If you could be any animal in the world, which one would you be and why?

If I could be any animal in the world, I would choose to be a dolphin. They are great communicators and rely on teamwork.

What is your favorite volunteering opportunity you've been a part of at FCCU?

I recently enjoyed volunteering at the Brat House in Watertown. It’s a well-known local spot that benefits the local community. We specifically helped fundraise for Big Brothers Big Sisters of South-Central Wisconsin.

What does the “credit union difference” mean to you?

I think the credit union difference is giving back to the community and giving our members a personal experience tailored to them.

What is your favorite product or service that we offer?

My favorite product we offer would have to be the Rapid Refi. It’s a great product that is low cost and can help members save on their mortgage.

What is one FCCU service that you wish more people knew about?

I wish more of our members knew about the amazing grants that are available to first time homebuyers. FCCU can help members apply for up to $11,000 in grants towards the purchase of their first home!
