FCCU Joins the Buy Local Spend Local Movement, Strengthening Local Economy

FORT ATKINSON, WI – Fort Community Credit Union (FCCU) proudly announces its participation in the Buy Local Spend Local movement, an initiative aimed at supporting local businesses and fostering a thriving local economy. By joining this movement, FCCU reaffirms its commitment to the community it serves and encourages its members to shop locally.
The Buy Local Spend Local movement focuses on promoting local businesses, their products, and services. It aims to create a stronger sense of community by encouraging individuals to redirect their spending towards local establishments, contributing to the economic growth of the area.
As part of this initiative, FCCU is introducing eye-catching window clings reminding members to use their FCCU cards when shopping at local businesses. The window clings serve as a visual cue, encouraging members to make a conscious choice to support their community with each transaction.
Furthermore, FCCU is excited to offer a special reimbursement incentive to its members as part of the Buy Local Spend Local campaign. Members who use their FCCU credit or debit cards for purchases made at local businesses will have a chance to be entered into a monthly drawing where 10 members will receive up to a $50 reimbursement. This incentive provides an additional benefit to members while encouraging them to actively participate in supporting local merchants.
