FCCU hosts 3rd of 4 2022 community shred events in Watertown on August 13

WATERTOWN, WI – Fort Community Credit Union (FCCU) has partnered with Shred-It to host a series of free shred events in Fort Atkinson, Jefferson, Whitewater, and Watertown. Community members are encouraged to bring their confidential documents to be safely destroyed onsite at one of the four events offered in 2022.
“There are many preventative steps that a person can take to minimize their risk of identity theft. By hosting these shred events, we hope to encourage community members to dispose of their confidential documents in a safe and secure way,” said Sue Johnson, President and CEO of FCCU. “Protecting our members and community members’ information is, and will continue to be, our top priority.”
The Watertown Shred Event will take place at the FCCU Watertown Branch at 633 Church St in Watertown on Saturday. August 13 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. FCCU representatives will be onsite to direct car traffic and assist with the transfer of documents to the shred truck.
FCCU will host one more shred event in 2022 on Saturday, October 8 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. The event will be located at the FCCU Whitewater Branch located at 203 E Milwaukee St in Whitewater.
