What's the difference between this and other credit score offerings?
Credit Score & More pulls your credit profile from TransUnion®, one of the three major credit reporting bureaus, and uses VantageScore® 3.0, a credit scoring model developed collaboratively by the three major credit bureaus: Equifax®, Experian®, and TransUnion®.
This model seeks to make score information more uniform between the three bureaus to provide consumers a better picture of their credit health.

Will accessing Credit Score & More "ding" my credit and potentially lower my credit score?
Credit Score & More is a "soft inqury" which does not affect a credit score. Lenders use "hard inquiries" to make decisions about creditworthiness when you apply for loans.

How often is the credit score updated?
The credit score will be updated every seven days and displayed in digital banking. You can click "refresh score" as often as every day for an updated credit score.

What if the information provided by Credit Score & More appears to be wrong or inaccurate?
Credit Score & More shows the most relevant information from a credit report. If you think some information is wrong or inaccurate, you can obtain a free credit report from AnnualCreditReport.com and then dispute inaccuracies with each bureau individually.
Each bureau has its process for correcting inaccurate information, but every FCCU Credit Score & More user can "File a Dispute" with TransUnion® by clicking on the Dispute link within Credit Score & More. TransUnion® will share this with the other bureaus if the inaccuracy is verified.

Why do credit scores differ?
Three major credit-reporting bureaus (Equifax®, Experian®, and TransUnion®) and two scoring models (FICO® or VantageScore®) determine credit scores.
Financial institutions use different bureaus, as well as their own scoring models. Over 200 credit report factors may be considered when calculating a score, and each model may weigh credit factors differently, so no scoring model is identical.

Will FCCU honor my credit score in Credit Score & More?
If your score shown in Credit Score & More is different than the scores we get from the credit bureaus during the loan application process, simply print out your score and let us know.
We will review your information and determine if there is a better offer we can provide you.
