FCCU Team Spotlight: Meet Spot

Spot is the new face of FCCU, so we thought we should sit down and get to know him!

Introduce yourself and tell us how long you've been at FCCU?

My name is Spot, and I was rescued by FCCU in February of 2020!

Outside of work, what are some of your favorite things to do?

I love exploring the local parks of Jefferson County. On my walks I like to stop for a pup-cone at Frostie Freeze, or sometimes a pup-cake from the SweetSpot – they really hit the spot. When it’s nice out I even like to take a dip in the pool at the Fort Aquatic Center!

What’s your favorite volunteering opportunity you’ve done with FCCU?

Well, since I’m kind of a newbie ? I haven’t gotten my paws on any volunteer activities yet, but I can’t wait to!  Especially, if it means I can be outside with my FCCU family volunteering at events that help our  communities be a better place to live, work and play!

What’s your favorite song to jam to?

My favorite song to jam to is Who Let the Dogs Out by Baha Men, it really makes it a pawty!

If you could be any human in the world, who would you be and why?

If I could be any human in the world, I would want to be a FCCU Member Service Representative! I would love to help FCCU members all day long if I could and save them from some ruff situations. I can’t imagine a better day than hanging out with all my friends at FCCU!

What is one FCCU service that you wish more people knew about?

I wish more people knew about our Spot’s Sensible Savings Club. It’s a paw-some account that rewards kids for saving their money! Kids can be entered to win great prizes when they save their money and can even get some pretty cool swag along with learning the importance of paws-itive savings habits!

If you won the lottery, what would you do?

If I won the lottery, I would buy all of the dog treats in the world and share them with all my friends at the Jefferson County Humane Society and Paddy’s Paws furever!

What does the “credit union difference” mean to you?

To me, the credit union difference means helping our members be in the best financial position they can be. I am passionate about helping kids and adults learn how to sensibly save and spend! Just like me, credit unions are loyal, dedicated, always excited to see you, and overall benevolent. This is how we want our members to feel about each encounter with us! Anything is paw-sible when you’re an FCCU member!
