Why Become a Member?
When you become a member of Fort Community Credit Union, you become a part of something special. Unlike a bank, we're a not-for-profit organization. That means any earnings we generate are returned to our members in the form of competitive rates on loans and excellent convenient services.
Does your bank charge you to save?
Other financial institutions charge fees for saving varying from:
- $2 per month fee if savings drops under $50,
- $2-6 service charge per withdrawal after 6 transactions per month,
- $8 charge per month if checking drops below $300 minimum daily balance,
You won't find those fees at FCCU.
In 2019, we gave back $400,000 to our members in Member Loyalty Cash. What does your financial institution give back to you?
Do You Know the Difference Between a Credit Union and a Bank?
A great way to start is by looking at the 7 Cooperative Principles for Credit Unions. Check out this video we made with our Training Coordinator, Jenn, about what makes us stand out!
Membership is open to anyone living or working in Dane, Dodge, Jefferson, Rock, Walworth, and Waukesha counties.
